In her own words: My name is Kristen and I am a theatre student at the University of Colorado and spend much of my time teaching myself how to become someone else. That being said, I feel the exact opposite at bike rallies. There is something pure in the nature of riding a motorcycle that is present in every person you meet and in a world full of fake people and constant bull shit, rallies are refreshing. Not to say that I don't absolutely love the insanity, lack of rules and inhibition in an environment where it is not only allowed but encouraged to dance on bars and poles... But to me the sense of community that comes from all these bad ass riders is what gets me going, and I don't stop. The only thing that will complete this ecstatic purity for me would be to learn to ride on my own sometime in the near future (if I can grow a pair).
