Last year one of my best friends calls me and says "Harris I want to go to Sturgis its on my bucket list" He told me he was diagnosed with stage 4 esoughagus cancer. SO I had 2 weeks before Sturgis. I bought a 2007 VTX 1300 and the the next week got my temps and the next week I wa sin Sturgis. Little did I know I would get nailed by a huge hail storm LOL
I ended up with $3200.00 in hail damage to my bike! Just wonderig if anyone else got hit and what kind of $$$damage you had to your ride???

Oh my bike when I bought it was a 2007 with 2404 miles on it and it was a bank repo I got it for 5600.00 and had 57% of what I paid for it in hail damage PRICELESS

Luckily, we left the day before the really bad hail storm but we did endure several heavy rain, wind and smaller hail storms during the time we were there. We are hoping the weather is better this year.

a friend had about $4,000 dollars on his ultra classic, the damn hail even broke his radio. we just missed it by about 5 min. or so, just got back to the spoke when it started to rain like hell, sure glad the worst of the storm missed the spoke.

We left about a half hour before all hell broke loose. Sorry for those who had the damage but road like hell and got away from it to sunshine and a beautiful day.

Friends camped at the Chip last year had over $20K in damage to a new truck, and heavy damage to the toy-hauler. Let's not have another storm like that for at least 10 years, ok?

We were with Rustygun when it hit and it was a heck of a race to get back. I was really sad to see all of that damage. My heart goes out to all of you who had to go through that.
